APPRENTICES
FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL & SENIOR HIGH STUDENTS

One of the Apprentice groups writing and rehearsing their original composition.Students will explore creative rhythm and dance with John Hyatt, James Reedy, and Jan Hyatt; vocal music with Richard Freysinger, math & science with Bob Shields, visual art with Brian Thummler, creative writing with Lora Zill, and music composition with Richard and John. All explorations will culminate in a program of original music, dance, and writing, and an exhibition of student science and art.

Monday-Friday July 12-30 from 1:15-4:00 pm. From

4:15-5:15 daily, Apprentices may swim with Tom

Erdos in the Mellon Pool at the Wise Center.

Limited to 30 students, divided by age and

experience into two working groups:

  • Apprentices new to Creating Landscapes must also enroll in the Players morning program.
  • Experienced Apprentices may apply to become work-study aides to one of the four morning programs.
    If chosen, they will receive a $75 reduction in
    tuition fees
