Join the Garden

As a garden participant, you and/or your family receive: a weekly share of produce harvested, monthly newsletters, participation in all educational events and monthly potlucks, & more! Each participating family commits to be present at the garden site four times per month to help maintain this community project. We ask that adult family members or other designated adult supervisors always accompany children to the garden.

There are two options for you and/or your family to join the garden as participants:

Choice 1 -- Share Deeds

• In addition to working at the garden site four times per month, you and/or your family participate in four “Deeds Instead of Dollars” (DID) activities throughout the season. DID activities include: assisting with potluck set up and tear down, filling produce boxes weekly, giving presentations in the community about the garden, documenting garden events, and much more – please just let us know how you’d like to share your time and talents and we will help you find your fit!

• Available to families or individuals who qualify for the free or reduced-price school meals program or receive other government-funded financial assistance.

Choice 2 – Share Dollars

• In addition to working at the garden site four times per month, you and/or your family make a tax-deductible donation to support the garden project. Please indicate the amount on your registration form.
