Evan Andrae (language artist, apprentice and players writing instructor, web site and student book coordinator) earned his master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He has taught seventh grade language arts at Meadville Area Middle School for the past eleven years. | |
Emily Cicora (Pre-K coordinator) studied literature and early childhood education at Kent State University. This is her fourth year with the Summer Landscapes program. She teaches at the Creating Landscapes Learning Center K-8 Independent School. | |
Richard Freysinger (Players vocal music instructor and Apprentice coordinator) holds a B.A. in Math and Music Education from the University of Michigan and a M.M. in Music Education from Duquesne University. Richard currently teaches math at Conneaut Area Senior High. He performs in NW Pennsylvania music venues. | |
Gabby Hyatt (Photographer, Associate Book Designer, track team runner, and “right hand” to John Hyatt and Evan Andrae) a senior at Cheyenne Mountain High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado is participating in her fourth Meadville Summer Residence program. She is a second-degree black belt, avid snowboarder, fascinated by robots and plans to major in robotics engineering when she goes to college. | |

John also teaches guitar and performs throughout Northwest PA. In 2005, he was named to Who’s Who in American Teachers. | |
Claire Jurs (Pre-K coordinator) holds a B.M. in Music Education from Furman University and an M.M. in Vocal Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music. She currently teaches Music & Me early childhood classes in Meadville, music classes at The Learning Center K-8 Independent School, and voice lessons at Allegheny College as an adjunct voice instructor. |
